MEXICO CITY – Jim Ross is back! After unceremoniously firing Good Ol’ J.R. last week in his home state of Oklahoma, John Laurinaitis appeared to have had a change of heart.
After an overwhelmingly negative response from theWWE Universe on his Twitter account (@WWERawGM), the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim General Manager of Raw invited Ross to Mexico during WWE’s tour of the country.
At a taping of the Raw SuperShow in Mexico City on Saturday, Laurinaitis invited Ross to once again be a part of Raw. (SEE EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS | WATCH FAN VIDEO)
But instead of saddling up at the announce desk, J.R. was put in a tag team match. The WWE Hall of Famer teamed with John Cena to take on WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio and his partner – and Ross nemesis – Michael Cole.
